Barbara is an Idaho-based fine artist whose vibrant oil paintings capture the diverse beauty of the natural world.  Painting from her studio in the scenic Treasure Valley, she specializes in a wide range of subjects–including expressive animals, delicate florals, striking still lifes, dramatic seascapes, and sweeping landscapes.  Barbara thoughtfully crafts each piece using rich, experimental color palettes designed to bring life, harmony, and beauty into any interior space.

For Barbara, art began as a lifelong passion.  Throughout a busy career, drawing and painting served as a vital creative outlet and a peaceful way to relieve stress.  It wasn’t until retirement, however, that she found the time to fully immerse herself in formal training.  Diving into her favorite medium, oil paint, Barbara studied under the mentorship of the world-renowned artist Evelyn Woodward.  Learning advanced techniques and color mastery from Woodward sparked a profound inspiration that continues to drive Barbara’s artistic evolution today.

Before relocating to the Treasure Valley, Barbara built a successful art practice in Arizona.  There, she became well-known for producing high-quality custom consignments and selling original pieces directly from her home studio and at regional art shows. Today, inspired by her new surroundings in Idaho, Barbara continues to create captivating canvases, pouring a lifetime of passion and refined skill into every brushstroke.
